Signing Ceremony for the Producers' Declaration

. Many members of the New Energy World Industry Grouping (NEW-IG) are present today. . In case, only minor changes to draft during discussion a signing ceremony is added at the end of this session. – the changes will be done by hand on the original and then signed by NEW-IG members. Further signatures to be added at next NEW-IG meeting.. In case of large changes, signing postponed to next NEW-IG meeting in Brussels, probably on 29 June 2015.

A few logical Questions from the concept paper– some already answered in the draft Declaration, some still missing, but perhaps worth also discussing?

1. Target: aiming high; what overall (& why)?

2. Arriving at a 2-year roadmap with quarterly milestones, incl. nomination of monitoring entity

3. What is missing in public European support (apart from the absolut level of financial support and the existing directive on clean fuels), i.e. are there any political obstacles and gaps in the pipeline?

4. Details: a. Tasks: what in detail? b. Players: who does what? c. Overall budgetary requirements
