VOLT Partners and Target Audiences

•The purpose of VOLT is to take unskilled and semi-skilled workers and turn them into much higher skilled workers with much greater earning potential.

•Our target audience is young adults with limited skill and education who want to improve their lives.

•A specific target will be the Latino community which makes up roughly 50 percent of the regional population.

•We will also partner with local WIB boards and Adult Education Consortia to provide training to their clients.

Outreach to Underserved Populations

•Contracts with Workforce Investment Boards to Serve Their Customer Base

•Contracts with Community Service Agencies to Serve Unemployed or Underemployed and People on Public Assistance

•Partnerships with Local High Schools and Community Colleges to Provide an Additional Pathway for Adult Education Populations – We have formed such a partnership already with the Yosemite Adult Education Consortium.

•Partnerships with Latino Advocacy Groups
