Eyeful of Sky is a series of drawings portraying theunpredictability of the weather. The arduous
procedure of making the drawings isdisproportionate to the brief moment of the eventthe drawings are about. Movements and rhythmscontrast the mechanical and deliberate drawingmethod. Paradoxically I draw the sky with a rulerand I enjoy part obscuring the image with rain on
glass or blowing leaves.
The large Chiaroscuro drawings are complementedby landmarks, a series of small four plate colouretchings. Both etchings and drawings depict the
landscape around Brandon in West Kerry where I live.
