+ ARTS + SCIENCE @ OSU 2016 - 2017 BEAVER TALES: AN ENVIRONMENTAL ART & SCIENCE EXHIBIT The Beaver Tales Art & Science Exhibit showcases the beauty and utility of beavers and the habitats they create and maintain. Beaver Tales is a traveling exhibit across Northwestern Oregon that features the work of over 100 artists who have contributed paintings, photographs and sculptures using an incredible array of materials including wood, glass, clay, pine needles, cedar bark, leather, felt, even cross-cut saws. Come join us to learn more about Oregon’s state animal and OSU’s own mascot. Presentations 5pm-5:45pm Join us to see a number of scientific and historic presentations on the beaver. Presenters include the Wetlands Conservancy, OSU Special Collections, OSU Forest Ecosystems and Society, and OSU Water Resources Engineering.
