STEP FOUR

Lay down the two pieces of cardboard leaving only enough space between to fit in your book.

Now, pick up your book and use strong tape to connect the two piece keeping that gap.

STEP FIVE

After taping the book from and back, now place the back of the folded pieces of paper into that gap where the tape is and push the combined pieces firmly into the tape. Fold the book over.

STEP SIX

Now it is time to cut your material to so that it is again about a half inch longer on each side. Select the material you need; if you waited to do this the second day, maybe you have fabric you like better at home.

Step SevenFold the material around the cardboard and staple it to the cardboard making sure the very first and last pages will cover the staples and just show the slightest edge of the book because you will paste the back of the picture and the back of the last page to the cardboard. You may have to trim the corners so the material will not be bulky.

Step Eight

Paste the back of the frontispiece (picture) and the back of the last page to the inside of the cardboard covering the staples. Wait to dry. Carefully after dry, fold the book so you have a nice little covered book that your wrote and covered yourself.
