HOW IT WORKS
At its simplest, AN! High Availability Platform provides a completely redundant highly-available pool of resources; storage, CPU cores, memory and networking are configured with custom parameters into highly-available virtual machines on which to run your mission-critical servers.
All of your servers can run independently on a single platform, eliminating the need for multiple hardware servers. Because your servers are completely decoupled from the underlying hardware, you have even more versatility and flexibility. Servers can be rapidly deployed and all of your servers on our AN! High-Availability Platform are protected by real-time server redundancy.
The virtual machines support most any modeThe virtual machines support most any modern operating system, providing you with the versatility and flexibility to consolidate all of your servers and applications. From the point of view of your servers and overlaying applications, they are running on simple, standard hardware. Underneath is a highly resilient, fully redundant platform.
AVOID DOWNTIME
With multiple hardware redundancies, fail-safes and automated fail-over, Alteeve's Niche! High Availability Platform is so robust that most failures (even critical failures) will induce no downtime at all! Servers can even be live-migrated between physical nodes with absolutely no downtime.

RAPID FAIL-OVER
In the case of a catastrophic node failure (ie. complete system shut-down), the fault will be detected in under one second and the lost node will be isolated (fenced) within 5 to 30 seconds. The cluster will then determine what virtual machines were lost, if any, and recover them on the surviving node.
MIGRATION & MAINTENANCE
With Live Migration capabilities, server hardware maintenance can be completed with no down time so your operations continue to run, even when your servers hardware is being shutdown.
SIMPLE OPERATION
Servers and applications appear as if they are running on traditional hardware and connect to the network just as normal. However, they are all on the same platform, making management and support much easier. And with our AN! Dashboard managing and maintaining you cluster is a breeze.
MONITORING / RECOVERY
The AN! High-Availability Platform is constantly monitoring the health of: the physical cluster nodes, the virtual servers, and the cluster services. In the event of a fault, the cluster will isolate the affected system and immediately take corrective action.
