THE 30-SECOND CONTACT RULE: When making new contacts, remember it is not a sales call. Simply strike up conversations about common interests and find out about their dreams, desires, fears, likes and goals. Near the end of the conversation, let them know that you host social events and bring people together to discuss wellness, self-care, pampering and empowerment. Suggest exchanging contact information and give them a sample as you say goodbye.

These are the people you will invite to attend your events and help them set up an auto-ship (for the Soul Purpose Joy of the Month, Mialisia Jewelry, Mineral MakeUp Beauty Box and/or Essential Oil Aroma Share clubs). The POWER HOUR is designed to harness your energy and attention for one solid HOUR of quality, uninterrupted time! The benefits of the POWER HOUR are mind-blowing.

TIME EFFICIENCY! Who has spare time or time to waste? No one. So, it’s important to make the best use of the time you do have. By setting aside an hour, two or three times a week, you’ll know that there is an assigned time when you can get everything done.

EFFECTIVE! Conducting a POWER HOUR requires you to be better organized. By grouping your calls to contacts, customers and biz partners, you can develop a outline of what you want to discuss and your desired outcome. Rather than jumping from topic to topic, your conversations will be focused and effective. Being focused on similar information from call to call will also support you in mastering the information and your delivery.

LESS STRESS! Since having your own business is most likely not the only thing on your very full plate, achieving a good balance between your corporate job, family, social life and your new business is essential. STEP 1. Qualify Your Prospect. This is a very important step and it doesn't mean getting a commitment from you prospect about joining the business. Qualifying them simply means to determine if they are interested enough to take action and coachable to take the recommended action.

They should read, watch or listen to one or more of the following:

2. "Set Up" The Presenter.Why edify? It's not for the ego of the presenter, it is to get your prospect’s attention. When edified properly, whatever is said during the 3-way has more meaning. The purpose is to validate and add another layer of credibility to what you have already shared about the opportunity. You might say:

"Deborah, I can see that you are a lady of passion and determination. Not everyone is a person of action so I truly appreciate you being coachable and taking the time to listen to _______ (see list above.)

"You are exactly the type of person we are hoping will join our wellness and wealth building crusade and I'd like to introduce you to my success upline and business partner, ___________. (Always use presenter's full name and title. Share the "set up" info for presenter.)

“She (presenter) knows that I am committed to share Youngevity with everyone and even though she's extremely busy, she will set aside time to speak with go-getters like yourself. I have told her all about you, so we can specifically speak to your interests. What I love about doing a 3-way call is that it will give you a chance to ask any questions you have. What time of day works best for you… During the day or evenings? (Wait for the answer.) Week day or weekends? (Wait for the answer.) Great, how about? ________. Okay, that's confirmed and I will call you at that time. If anything should change on your end and you need to cancel, please let me know in advance so that I won't misuse the opportunity to book time on (presenters) busy schedule.“

3. Confirm Time With Presenter.Now you should confirm the time on the calendar with the presenter to lock it in. This is also the time for you to share details about your prospect. Who they are, how you met them, what they do for a living and why you think Youngevity can help them. The goal is to be prepared and speak to the specific needs, wants and desiresof your prospect.

4. Initiate the 3-Way Call.Call the presenter first. This ensures they are situated and available to talk. This also gives the presenter a chance to reconfirm information about the prospect or ask other questions before you conference them in. NEVER, EVER, EVER get the prospect on first and then call the presenter.

Once connected, you should make the introductions:

"Deborah Collins, meet Cheryl Cormier, Vice Chair Marketing Director of Youngevity. Cheryl meet Deborah. (Let them exchange greetings.)

"Cheryl, I know you are very busy and appreciate you taking time out of your schedule to meet someone special, coachable and a woman of action. Deborah is ______________. (Edify, edify, edify your prospect. The more you say, the more your prospect will know that you "get" her, appreciate her and that you value her potential.)

"Deborah, I've shared that Cheryl is ________ (Repeat what you shared in the "set up" step. Now add the additional info from the presenter's bio.) In addition, she is _____________. She’s excited to speak with you, so I'm going turn the call over to her so she can share how Youngevity can help you from a wellness and wealth building standpoint. Cheryl...."

The presenter will begin by EDIFYING YOU and will add credibility and layers of understanding about the wellness crusade and our phenomenal business opportunity.

(Now sit back and let the presenter present and close your prospect. By the end of the conversation, you should know what products they want to order and whether or not they are a business builder.)

5. Close the Call. Thank both your prospect and presenter for being on the call. Review any action items to research or follow up on as a result of the call. After the presenter disconnects, stay on the line to get your prospect signed up or order placed. If they are not ready at the time, confirm with your prospect when you will call to follow up with them.

6. Follow Up. Don't let your prospect sit with the information too long. You want to engage while the energy level is high and there’s still excitement about everything that has been shared.

What is SOCIAL SELLING?SOCIAL SELLING is a sales strategy to introduce groups of people to the products and company in a “social” or party setting. It is much more efficient than one-on-one selling. In a group setting, you will also be able to create an energy, sharing and self-care while introducing our many brands and the business opportunity.

Are others having success with SOCIAL SELLING?Yes! Results for the month of May 2015 demonstrates success on every level. There were more than 500 social selling events booked. The average order amount was $120. The average total sales per event was $500. And 2,500 new preferred customers and distributors were enrolled.

What products should be the focus of a Social Selling event?The beauty of the concept is that you get to focus on the product(s) that you’re most PASSIONATE about. Whether that means you’ll focus on 90 FOR LIFE; Soul Purpose, Mia or the new OHD line; mineral make-up, essential oils, or a combination of brands, it’s your decision to make.

Social Selling events only done in the home party setting?No. While the home party is perhaps the most popular option, a social selling event can also be a book event (where a host collects orders for you) or a virtual event (conducted online by sharing a unique shopping link with friends for a limited amount of days). Both of the latter options give you the opportunity to have multiple events going at once.

What are the benefits of Social Selling?Everyone benefits as you’ll see on the next page, but briefly: Each customer can qualify for a ½ off product by placing an order of $75 or more. The Host qualifies for shopping credits of 15% to 25% based on the total sales of their event plus discounts of 50%-75% off on 1-3 product items. As the distributor, you’ll earn level overrides (or quick start bonuses) on the BV (bonus volume) of each order placed.

What is the recommended number of Social Selling events per month?It’s recommended that you hold 4 social selling events each month. That’s 1 per week which means that you can invite the new contacts you make each week (following the 5x5 rule) to an upcoming event. If your schedule doesn’t allow for 4, it would be ideal to commit to at least 2 per month.

Why is the Youngevity Social Selling program superior to other party plans?Based on my experience, there are many reasons that our program is superior. Here are four that come to mind: #1 As a distributor, we can also be the host of an event and earn host credits. #2 Host credits don’t have to be used all at once. Some can be used on the host order associated with the event and the balanced used within 60 days. #3 Individual customer orders are processed and shipped immediately so no customer has to wait until the event is closed. #4 There is no minimum number of orders for an event. The minimum $200 sales can be met with one or more orders.

Host Order:1. There is no minimum purchase requirement to redeem host product credits or discount

coupons.2. Host must pay shipping on order.3. If host does not use all earned product credits or discount coupons on their order processed

when closing the party, they will have 60 days to use them. Any subsequent order to redeem credits/discounts must be called into the Social Selling Department.

4. There is NO BV or QV credit generated on products paid for with product credits or discount coupons.

Social Event Sales:1. There is no minimum # of orders required to constitute a party. The total sales amount will

determine product credit earned.2. All customers will individually pay wholesale prices plus tax and shipping. Shipping is 8% of

the order total or min of $6.50.3. A distributor can be a host of a social event with all benefits as a host. 4. BV from a social event’s sales will be posted on Distributor’s first level.5. All orders from a social event will show as individual orders (not as one bulk total).6. There is a 2 week deadline to close out a social selling event. 7. Individual orders will be processed and shipped as they are entered into the system. This

means no waiting for customers who order immediately!
