WILLIAM DAVENPORT, TENOR William Davenport is rapidly garnering attention for his strong yet lyric tenor and Italianate style. Of his recent performance in Chesapeake Chamber Opera’s production of La Boheme, Tim Smith of The Baltimore Sun said, “William Davenport, who sang the role of Rodolfo has the makings of a significant tenor. There's an immediately expressive and appealing quality in the timbre, one with quite an Italianate tint...” A native of Maryland, Mr. Davenport completed

studies at the Peabody Conservatory of Music under Dr. Stanley Cornett. He performed frequently with Peabody Opera, including the roles of Des Grieux in Manon, Alfred in Die Fledermaus, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Alfredo in La Traviata. Outside the walls of Peabody, Mr. Davenport recently made his role debut as Pinkerton in Madame Butterfly in a semi-staged production with the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra and has just finished performances with Chesapeake Chamber Opera as Roméo in Gounod's Roméo et Juliette. Coming in April, he will join the Maryland Symphony Orchestra for a night of opera.

DOMINIC INFERRERA, BARITONE Dominic Inferrera is gaining a great deal of attention for giving voice to many different styles of music including opera, oratorio, musical theater, pop, jazz, and contemporary music. He won critical acclaim in the role of The Son in Hugo Weisgall’s Six Characters in Search of an Author with Opera Festival of New Jersey, where The New York Times proclaimed him a “standout.” His recent performance of Young (Old) Button in John Eaton's operatic adaptation of “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” with Center for Contemporary Opera was hailed by the New York Times as “dynamic.” Other roles include The Celebrant in Bernstein’s Mass, Escamillo in Carmen with OperaDelaware, Masetto (Don Giovanni)

with Toledo Opera and Annapolis Opera, Lescaut in Opera Memphis’s production of Manon Lescaut, Guglielmo in Così fan Tutte with Capital City Opera, Moralès (Carmen), Wagner (Faust), and the Maggiordomo (Vanessa) with Opera Festival of New Jersey, and most recently Hollis in Bill Smith’s jazz opera, A Space in the Heart. Mr. Inferrera’s performing credits include operetta, musical theater, and pops performances with Jack Everly and the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, the Oregon Symphony, Utah Festival Opera, Colorado Symphony, The Naples Philharmonic in Florida with conductor Erich Kunzel, and the Meredith Monk Ensemble.

Some of his notable performances have been at The Phillips Collection in Washington, DC and at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York. After a joint recital at Weill Recital Hall, Tim Page of The New York Times wrote: “Mr. Uhlig...proved a Mozartean of poise and elegance.” His longtime collaboration with Metropolitan Opera Mezzo Soprano Barbara Dever has earned him great praise from Robert Baxter of The Camden Courier Post who wrote; “Throughout the recital, pianist Jeffrey Uhlig enfolded Dever’s voice with warm-toned accompaniments. Uhlig played commandingly throughout the recital.” He plays regularly with many members of The Philadelphia Orchestra including Concert Master

David Kim, Principal Cellist, Hai-Ye Ni and Principal Trombonist, Nitzan Haroz. Mr. Uhlig studied piano with William Masselos and Gaby Casadesus and studied art song literature with Dalton Baldwin. He received a Master of Music Degree from West Chester University.
