ENFORCEMENTInjunclion 3. (1) ii in the opinion of the ArtorneyGeneral of Canada, ii appears that a ny per son

has engaged, is engaged or is about to engage ina ny a ct or practice in contravention of thi s Ac t,the Attorney General of Canada may commenceproceedings in any superior court of competentjurisdiction to enjoin such a ct or practice.

Power of court (2) The court before which proceedings arecommenced and maintained under this sectionmay

(a) grant a temporaiy restraining order or aninterlocutory injunction:(b) order any person to comply with aprovision of this Act ; and(c) make such other order as may be deemednecessasy to effect compliance with this Act.(3) The court before which proceedings are 20commenced and maintained under this section

ma y punish any person who contravenes or failsto comply with a restraining order, injunction orother order granted or made by the court underthis section by a fine in the discretion of the 25court or by imprisonment for a term notexceeding two years.
