The future of our Auxiliary depends on others that are willing to step up and become an officer. The new slate of officers can determine what projects/dinners/activities they wish to continue or add. Are you willing to keep our Auxiliary active and fill one of the required positions? Nominations continue with our April and May meetings; after the final nomination at our May meeting, we will immediately hold the election. Your vote is important and counts, if you wish to hold an office, you MUST attend the next 2 meetings. We are winding down our current projects: If you have any donations (can tabs, manufacturer’s coupons, greeting card fronts, RX bottles, plastic caps, etc.), we need them brought to the Post immediately. This will give us time to complete our Activity Reports to Department and complete these projects. We will not be having a first Saturday dinner in April. We will have 1 more breakfast, the first Sunday in April. We will again host our Easter feast at the Post on April 16 th from Noon til 2 PM. Our Adult Easter Egg Hunt will begin immediately following the dinner. We will have turkey and ham and are asking for side dishes and desserts, please bring them in disposable containers. My 3rd year as local President is coming to an end; I would like to say thank you to our Post for their constant support of our Auxiliary. A deep heartfelt ‘Thank You’ to my Officers and ladies: you have been my inspiration and my support…we could not have accomplished the many projects we have completed in these 3 years without YOU! I will still be around and will assist our new officers when they need me. Love you my friends! Thank you to the Sons for putting on another great Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner, thank you to those who purchased a meal. All proceeds go to our Veteran’s projects. Thank you to the Ladies who provided a wide variety of homemade desserts for this meal. A special Thank You to Al and Shirley Krueger for all of their assistance; they consistently support and assist all Post activities. Shirley always makes amazing homemade desserts that everyone enjoys. They will be leaving soon to go back up North, we wish them safe travels and hurry back! The canteen is still doing well and we are trying to schedule more events now that spring is here. We donated the back bar to Amvets Post 86 in Keystone Heights and it has given us more room in the Meeting/Dining room. We need more Amvets to step up and become Trustees. If you can only donate 1 hour each week it would be a tremendous help.

CANTEEN INFO WOW, April is here already! Don’t forget, on April 8Th the Riders will be at the post. We will be having dinner along with music, so come and enjoy yourself. Now EASTER SUNDAY the ladies are having DINNER then also an Easter egg hunt, come and have fun. I am glad to see you all coming in the post, Don't forget chicken wings on Tuesday night 5:30 till 7 pm, mmmmm good. Thanks everyone that bought a tickets for the comedy club, sorry about how it turned out, I was so disappointed. Watch for upcoming, events see you all at post 422.
