The band members were “gutted” when they found out.

Alyssia and Kaz have decided to stick together and they have found two members to com-plete the group Jay Sean and Rishi Rich.

Punjabi Hit Squad is one of the most successful Indian bands. They are famous for their catchy songs and high-quality videos. The news of Punjabi Hit Squad splitting came as a huge shock to all fans. Singer Im-ran Khan says: “The girls (Alyssia and Kaz) are like my family and we have gone closer while we were on tour.” The girls hope Imran has a very successful career and they had an excellent experience working with him.

Imran feels he would become more famous being a solo artist and wants to spend more time with his fam-ily and friends. A lot of his time was spent at work as the girls would be in the studio about 7 in the morning, Imran would always have to run out of his home to be there on time and go home around 9 at night.

Imran felt becoming a solo artist, he can choose the hours he wants to work and produce his own music. He has begun writing his own lyrics and he believes it is very important for an artist to write lyrics for their songs. There isn’t another singer in this scene who can write meaningful and positive lyrics like Imran.

Imran has begun working with other artists such as H Dhami, Bobby Friction and Nihal. “Nihal was my inspiration to become a singer” said Imran. Nihal and him are close friends and are currently working on a

single together. Imran produced his fi rst solo single ‘The Night Rider.’ The album he has produced will make people sit up and take notice of his talent and if you like ‘The Night Rider,’ you will most defi nitely love the album. “The Night Rider” is a unique song. The song appeals to different types of people because of the lyrics. The lyrics were tough for Imran to write, he needed something that would infl uence every one. Music is his passion; he decided in his early teenage years that music was the career for him. While Imran has been away from the group he has learnt how to mix with three turntables. Which for all the musicians out there know mixing with three turntables is hard to master.

The future Punjabi Hit Squad is working on a unique album at the moment. Jay Sean has a lot of contacts within the music industry as he has been in the indus-try for over more than ten years. Jay Sean has collabo-rated with Desi artists such as Metz and Trix, Mc Spe-cial, H Dhami and Juggy D. Rishi Rich will produce all the Punjabi Hit Squad’s beats who is the best Desi producer in the world. He has produced major hits like “Stolen” (Jay Sean) and “One More Dance” (Mumzy).
