1.1 Initializing Amos

Please open the Common Explorer and pick a node.

And Open a Amos session.



Loading all Managed Objects that match a specified word, and all the children of

these Managed Objects

To load all Managed Objects that match a specified word, and all the children of these

Managed Objects, use the following command:

1.2 Alarms Usefull Commands:

ALT: To print all alarms chronologically.



ALA: To print the active alarm list with detailed information on the alarm.

Get . Alarm: To Print the configuration of external alarm.



If we want to configure any alarm we can do for example:

The following command print every external alarms with the proxy number.

pr Equipment=1,AuxPlugInUnit=1,XalmDeviceGroup=1,AlmDeviceSet=1,AlmDevice

Now we can do the command get with the proxy number. In this case, is Proxy 503

Get 503 Proxi ID



If the purpose, is to change any parameter from the configuration of external alarm. The Mo must

be locked. To lock an MO, could be used a Set command to affect the administrativeState value.

For example:

Set

set Equipment=1,AuxPlugInUnit=1,XalmDeviceGroup=1,AlmDeviceSet=1,AlmDevice=1 administrativeState 0

or

set 503 administrativeState 0

An easy way to do it, is using the following commands.

Lbl/bl to lock

lbl

lbl Equipment=1,AuxPlugInUnit=1,XalmDeviceGroup=1,AlmDeviceSet=1,AlmDevice=1

or

lbl 503

Ldeb/deb to unlock

ldeb

after this mo locked, may proceed with the changes. Please dont forget, to unlock the alarm at the end. If not the alarms will stay inhibit.

Lga: Displays all of the past alarms.

The password of node is wireless



1.3 Hardware

Usefull Commands:

Get 0: Print cabinet info like, cabinet type and serial.

Cab: cab - Prints MP/BP HW info and LED status, MP temperature, and COREMGR status.



Cabx: Same as cab plus LED and HW info for the XP boards.



Lbl [s] & ldeb: Lock or soft-lock & Unlock MO(s).

Lbl/bl to lock.

On this example we use a ASC

1.4 Cells

Usefull Commands:

Hget radio Print horizontally, one line per sector and carrier (instead of one line per

attribute)

Get . commcontext Display all of the established radio links.



1.5 Software Usefull Commands:

Cvls Displays both the current CV information and CV list.

Cv startable, CV loaded, CV Executing and the last CV Created.

Upgrade software available on RBS.

Configuration version Name Sofware version Responsible fro the CV

Cvset Set a CV as startable.



Acc 0 manualrestart Restart RBS.

After restart, RBS will be start on CV NTP_new_OK

1.6 Transmission Usefull Commands:

Get Synch Displays the sync Information.

On this output is printed the state of the sync, his reference.and if its stable or not.

St E1: Check the status of the E1.



Get iub: Print the Iub interface.

ATM:

Stv Display state, user, and bandwidth usage for ATM ports.

Get ima Display the configuration of the IMA Group

IP: Get Giga Display the configuration of the gigabit port.

Testing:

ATM: Acc .*vcltp=vc eteloopback This could be used to check if there was a transmission problem.

ATM&IP: pdiff e1 Print incrementation of E1 PM attributes.



1.7 Stats Usefull Commands:

Pmr produce PM KPI reports

Option 1 RSSI Whole Period

Rssi Value should be between -100 & -110



Option 2 RSSI Rop by Rop (Each rop is equal to 15 minutes)

Option 7 IubDataStrams Performance

Option 9 RSSI Rop by Rop (Each rop is equal to 15 minutes)
