BenevoLENT is a campaign we developed with The Children’s Society which launched during March 2014 and runa until Easter that year. It gives users the ability to calculate the saving they will make by giving up a number of different indulgences during Lent, and then invites them to make a donation to The Children’s Society equivalent to that value. It was our responsibility to develop the concept, illustration styles and subsequently build it on a very short time-frame.

The changes, combined with an overhauled IA and content strategy, saw an overnight sea-change in their user analytics, including average visit duration up 96% and individual page views up a whomping 132%.

REFOUNDING LABOUR

To say that the Labour Party have been on a bit of a roller-coaster for the last two decades is somewhat of an understatement.

Whatever else is true, they are currently recovering from their biggest defeat in a very long time and are in the process of evaluating their roadmap to the next general election and beyond.

We built them a website, packed with interaction points and calls to action, designed to encourage visitors to tell Labour HQ what they love about the Party, and what they’d change. The response to the site has been fantastic to this point, and we watch with batted breath as our handy-work feeds into the policy-making process of the organisation.

TEARFUND: ONEVOICE

An annual feature of Tearfund’s calendar, is the Global Poverty Prayer Week. For seven days they call their supporters to prayer, focusing on the plight of those trapped in poverty across the globe. They asked us whether we could build a ‘prayer-wall’ that would enable supporters to post their prayers to the Tearfund website. We proposed a system we dubbed ‘twitter for prayer’. OneVoice was the result.

We’ve continued to support OneVoice into its second year of its young life, and have high hopes for its future.

The OneVoice platform won Best Micro-blog of the Year at the Christian New Media Award 2012.

CARE FOR UGANDAAsset development trip 2009

We’ve been involved in many aspects of the brand communications over the years including designing their logo, but our involvement with them reached a crescendo in 2009 when Paul Evans, our Creative Director joined them for a two-week development trip to their base of operations in the district of Luwero, north of the capital, Kampala. In that time he developed a professional-quality image library consisting of some 1,000 photographs, documenting every aspect of their work in the communities there. This material has now become a key building-block in their communications.
