Norm Schoenhoff has owned Whitewater Excitement since its inception in 1978. He is still involved in leading some of the river trips and is always on hand to help his staff and guides to organize the trips. Family Rafting and Young Rafters Trips

From our Family 50% Discount trips to our Young Rafters Trips (ages 5 and up) and Young Rafters Overnight Adventure, finally to our Sunset Cruise Class 2 trip on the “Lower Section” of the North Fork of the American river, just below the town of Auburn, CA.

American River Combo Trips

The South, North, and Middle Forks of the American River are excellent choices for combining two or three different river trips into one exciting adventure. There are many options available for trips that are from two to five days in length. We provide all great meals, camping is at our own private riverside camp area, you can bring your own camping gear or rent from us. We even have deluxe Cabin Tents that sleep 4 with cots and pads.
