Benjamin Gets A Makeover The new $100 bill: Same old face, with
some high tech tweaks meant to thwart
counterfeiters.
After a three-year hiatus due to production
delays, America will finally be getting the
new $100 bill in their ATMs and bank
accounts in October.
The new bill will have several features the
Fed says will make life difficult for
counterfeiters, but should help retailers
identify fakes. They include a blue, 3D
Steve Jobs, Mark Zukerberg and Jack
Dorsey have used, and not just for
burning calories. Many successful
managers are saying that for whatever
reason, people opened up more and had
much more truthful conversations,
regardless if it was about business or
more personal.
Taking a walk (a walk and talk) can lead
to fresh perspectives; generate new
ideas; refresh the mind, body and soul;
and build rapport with team members –
as well as with people you may not
know well, or who have different
perspectives.
And if you fear you are not going to
have the correct notes from your meeting
you can always use your recording
device on your smartphone to keep a
record and reference at a later time.
eReaders Love to read but the books are getting a
little too heavy? The Amazon Kindle or
iPad are great lightweight travel
companions. Most public libraries offer
FREE Kindle books. Kindles start at just
$60 and if you have an iPad the kindle
application is free! Get a grandkid to get
you started, you’ll fall in love with
reading all over again!
security ribbon embedded with images
of bells that change to the number 100
when you tilt the note back and forth.
If you tilt it side to side, those images
move up and down.
There will also be a Liberty Bell
embedded in an inkwell on the face of
the note. Both are copper colored until
you tilt the note. Then, the bell will
change from copper to green.
The Fed spells out all the cool features
on its website. The $100 bill, the most
widely counterfeited U.S. note, was
last redesigned in 1996. The Fed says
you will not need to trade in your old
$100 notes for the new ones.
One thing that isn’t changing:
Benjamin Franklin’s face will still be
staring out at you as you help the U.S.
economy by handing him over to a
cashier. But he won’t be winking.
Walking Meetings For those working every day, it’s not
easy to fit exercise into hectic
schedules. So here’s something to try
next time you set up a one-on-one
meeting: ditch the chairs and get some
fresh air. The newest trend is “walking
meetings.”
It’s something that tech titans like

Permanent life insurance has many benefits other than the one most people
consider when purchasing. The most common reason to purchase permanent
life insurance is to provide income replacement for our heirs, certainly a
valuable feature, but not the only one.
Permanent life insurance contracts accumulate cash value. The policyholder
can use the cash value as a tax-sheltered investment (the interest and earnings
on the policy are not taxable), as a fund from which to borrow and as a
means to pay policy premiums later in life, or they can pass it on to their
heirs. Whole life, variable life and universal life are all types of cash-value
life insurance. Cash-value insurance is also known as permanent life
insurance because it provides coverage for the policyholder's entire life.
Permanent life insurance provides tax deferred growth, liquidity, in many
contracts guaranteed growth, a tax-free death benefit and creditor protection
for policy owners in the State of Arizona. Creditor protection is provided
through only a few financial instruments. In a litigious society like ours, the
risk of losing our assets to a court judgment is greater than ever. Assets that
provide creditor protection are increasingly more valuable.
Arizona life insurance beneficiaries who are deemed to have “insurable
interests” in the lives of another, other than those effecting the insurance or
their legal representatives, are “entitled to life insurance proceeds against the
creditors and representatives of the person effecting the insurance.”
A.R.S.20-1131(A).
This Arizona State statute that provides asset protection, another powerful
reason that explains why permanent life insurance has an important place in
our financial portfolios.

Medicare Supplement Plans
Maricopa County Arizona 2013
Medicare Planning
“The process of selecting the most
appropriate Medicare plan is
more than just picking what your
friends says is the best.”
According the to the Best-Selling
author on the subject of Medicare
Planning, David P. Schaeffer
Schaeffer further states in his book
“Medicare Made 123 Easy” The
selection process is complicated by
the plethora of seemingly good
choices. He suggests a utilizing a
method outlined in the book of
gathering all of the pertinent
information about yourself before
going into the market place. Start
with the question. Do you have
doctors currently that are important
to your care? If so, you will want to
check every network in your area to
see which doctors are participating.
This is best done online. The goal of
the search is really to determine if
Medicare Advantage is going to be a
viable option or are you going to
need to select a Medicare
supplement which essentially allows
you to use any doctor regardless if
they participate in Medicare or not.
Look for his book on
Amazon.com or in your
public library.
