APWA Meeting Minutes – March 19, 2015 1 of 2 AMERICAN PUBLIC WORKS ASSOCIATION SACRAMENTO AREA UTILITY COORDINATION MEETING MEETING MINUTES FOR MARCH 19, 2015 I. Astrid Willard, Chair, called the meeting to order at 2:05 pm. Everyone in attendance signed in and introduced themselves (see attached sign-in sheet). Minutes from the January 15, 2015 meeting were discussed and approved. II. Project Reports were handed out, presented, and discussed by: Astrid Willard for Desi Lopez – Sacramento Regional Transit District Travis Evans – City of Rancho Cordova Rohit Vasishta – Sacramento County, Department of Water Resources Avtar Banwait – City of Elk Grove Mary Hamilton-Boyd – Sacramento County, Department of Transportation III. OLD BUSINESS 1. Updates were provided for the “A” Letter contact list. 2. The official name of the committee has been changed from “APWA Sacramento County Utility Coordination Committee” to “APWA Sacramento Area Utility Coordination Committee”. The purpose of this change is to include other agencies such as the City of West Sacramento who don’t necessarily fall within the County of Sacramento but are within the influence area of the working group. IV. NEW BUSINESS 1. Travis Evans volunteered to advertise the committee meeting by sending out a flyer to all individuals listed in the “A” Letter contact list. The purpose of the mailing is to increase awareness of the meeting in hopes of increasing attendance by other agencies. 2. Discussion took place regarding saving the meeting project reports on the County website where the meeting minutes and “A” Letter contact list are located. It was determined that the project reports would be saved on the website by adding them as an attachment to the meeting minutes. 3. Greg Smith and Mary Hamilton-Boyd agreed to email out their agency’s annual resurfacing map to the effected committee members. 4. Gretchen Hildebrand mentioned that much change is occurring at her company and that she is trying to keep up with all the “A” Letter requests. She believes she is keeping up with the requests but contact her if you don’t receive anything.

MEETING MINUTES FOR MARCH 19, 2015
