City of Bangor,

American Ramp Company is pleased to submit a proposal for the Bangor Skatepark!

Our crew loves working in the beautiful state of Maine and would be thrilled to create an amazing skatepark for the local community and add another fun park in Maine. Last year we had a great time working with the community of Windham, ME to do design meetings and create a custom design and build of their poured in place skatepark. An example of the custom work we did for Windham is create a quarterpipe extension with pool coping and a “Crazy Mac” logo to honor a local skater Mackenzie “Crazy Mac” MacVane. We have also worked with Portland, ME to create their skatepark which has seen a lot of success over the years.

We have been creating public spaces for skaters and bikers for 20 years while always striving to make every project as new and exciting as the last. We have completed over 3,000 projects stretching across every state in the US and over 40 countries around the world.

We’re proud to offer a unique combination of focused expertise and world-renowned skatepark design, engineering and build expertise, capable of addressing the full collection of needs for your skatepark. Our team is confident that we will provide a skatepark that accomodates the needs and wants of the local community.

In our proposal we have offered three different options for you to review.

1. Poured in place concrete skatepark. 2. Pro Series Skatepark including pouring a new concrete pad3. Concrete Pumptrack/Skate spot

Once a selection is made, we would love to work to refine the design with the stakeholders to help fully customize and create a skatepark that is a perfect fit for the community. Respectfully,

Alec BeldenAction Sports Development Manager American Ramp [email protected]
