i tem 1) t o bottom of subframe channel ( f ig.1, i tem 2).

Use a 1/2" x 1 1/4" b o l t (f ig.1, i tem 31, flatwasher, lockwasher and nut, and a 1/2" x 5" bo l t , long tube spacer ( f i g . 1, i tem 101, lockwasher and nut ( f ig.1, item 4 ) . Do not t igh ten yet.

b) Loosely at tach subframe f l a t b a r s (fig.1, i tem 5 ) and the lift support brackets ( f ig.1, i tem 6) t o the sides of channel (fig.1, i tem 2) .

Use four 1/2" x 1 1/2" b o l t s (fig.1, i tem 71, lockwashers and nuts. Do not t ighten yet.

c ) Loosely at tach the support p l a t e (fig.1, i tem 8 ) i ns ide the subframe f l a t b a r s ( f i g . 1 , i tem 5 ) .

Use four 318" x 1 1/4" b o l t s (fig.1, i t e m 91, lockwashers and nuts. Do not t igh ten yet.

i tem 1) through the smaller holes i n the l i f t lever ( f i g .2 , i tem 21, and secure them with a 3/8" uni- torque (stover) sel f- locking nuts.DC1 NOT E M D THE LEVER.

b) Attach push arm (fig.2, i tem 3) t o the lift lever (f ig.2, i tem 2) with a 17/32" x 2 1/4" p i n (fig.2, i tem 4) as shown. BE SURE TO USE THE CMiRECT HOLE.

Use a 5/32" x 1" co t te r p i n t o secure the p i n (f ig.2, i tem 4) .

Thread the adjustment f o rk ( f ig.2, i tem 5 ) i n t o the end of the push arm (fig.2, i tem 3 ) . Adjust the overa l l length of push arm assembly t o 32 13/16".

Place an 11/16" f latwasher and a bent re ta iner p la te (f ig.2, i tem 6) on the 5 /8" x 4" b o l t ( f ig.2, i tem 7 ) .

Inser t the b o l t i n t o the lever as shown. Place another bent re ta iner p l a t e and flatwasher on the bo l t , and secure it loosely with a lockwasher and nut.

I n s t a l l a f lange bearing (f ig.3, i tem 1) i n t o each l i f t support bracket (f ig.3, i t em 2 ) from the inside.

Inser t the l i f t arm (f ig.3, i tem 3) through the bearing i n the r i g h t hand l i f t support bracket. Put a tube spacer (f ig.3, item 4) on the arm, and then i nse r t the arm through the l i f t lever (under the 5/8" bo1 t) . Inser t the arm through another tube spacer, and then through the l e f t hand l i f t support bracket bearing. The end of the arm should protrude 2 1/4" beyond the bearing.

Posi t ion the subframe channel (f ig.1, i tem 2) i n l i n e wi th subframe f l a t b a r s ( f i g . 1, i tem 5 ) and securely t igh ten b o l t s ( f ig.1, i tem 7 and 9).

Rotate the l i f t arm (f ig.4, i tem 3) so t ha t i t s handle i s p a r a l l e l t o the ground, and block i n tha t posi t ion. Set the l i f t lever ( f ig.4, i tem 2 ) so that the 5/8" x 4" b o l t ( f i g . 4 , i tem 4) is perpendicular t o the ground, and then t igh ten the b o l t t o 50 lbs. f t.

I n s t a l l 1" x 4 1/2" p l a s t i c handle (fig.4, i tem 3) on l i f t arm ( f ig .4, i tem 1).

Loosely at tach the f r o n t support brackets (f ig.5, i tem 1) t o the t rac to r frame. For each bracket, use one lOmm x 1.25 x 25mm b o l t (f ig.5, i tem 2) with lockwasher, and two 10mm x 1.25 x 30mm b o l t s ( f ig.5, i tem. 3) wi th lockwashers fo r each bracket. Do not t igh ten yet.

Loosely at tach the attaching p lates ( f ig .5 i tem 4) t o the f ron t support brackets (fig.5, i tem 1). Use three 3/8" x 1" b o l t s ( f ig .5, i tem 5) with lockwashers fo r each plates. Do not t ighten yet.

Loosely i n s t a l l the reinforcement p la te (f ig.5, i tem 6 ) between the two attaching p lates (f ig.5, i tem 4) . Use two 5/16" x 314" b o l t s (f ig.5, item 71, lockwashers and nuts I N THE FRONT HOLES M Y . I n s t a l l the b o l t s heads and lockwashers from the ins ide wi th the nut on the outside as shown. Do not t igh ten yet.

g) Attach t h e f o r k end of t h e push arm ( f i g . 8 , item 41 t o t h e bot tom of t h e p i v o t b r a c k e t wi th a 5/8" x 1 5/8" p i n and a 4mm x 80mm s p r i n g c l i p ( h a i r p i n ) .

NOTE: The l i f t arm c a n b e r o t a t e d t o f a c i l i t a t e t h i s i n s t a l l a t i o n .

Tighten the 1/2" bolts (fig.9, item 1). Refer to the Torque Specification Table on page 11. Secure the rear hitch plate (fig.1, item 1) to the tractor by tightening the

If necessary, adjust the lift arm (fig.3, item 3) so that the handle section is parallel to the fender with approximately 1" of clearance when it is pulled a1 1 the way back.

Tighten the 5/8" x 4" bolt (fig.-4, item 4) on the lift lever to 100 lbs-ft.

m) Attach the two s e l f adhesive r e f l e c t o r s t o the rear fender as i l l u s t r a t e d i n f i gu re 10.

Ref lectors should be approximately 1/2" (13mm) up and 6" (150mm) i n from outside corners.

To avoid injury, park the t r ac to r on a l eve l surface, turn of f the engine, remove the key, and set the parking brake before removing the subframe.

a) Lower the h i t c h with the l i f t arm.

b) Remove 1/2" x 5" b o l t ( f ig.1, i tem 4) from the t r a c t o r ' s rear draw plate.

c ) Remove the two 1/2" x 1 1/4" bo1 t s (f ig.?, i tem 1) t ha t secure the subframe f l a tba rs t o the at taching plates.

d) Disconnect the end o f the push arm ( f i g . 8, i tem 4) from the p i v o t bracket by removing the 5 /8" x 1 5 /8" pin.

e) Remove the subframe from under the t rac to r .

f ) Carefu l ly remove the f r o n t support brackets (f ig.5, i tem 1) from the t rac to r frame, and then remove the male h i t ch assembly from the t rac to r .
