Aztec• The Aztec Empire was peopled by a group that

was once nomadic, the Mexicas. Their chroniclers told them that after their

Mayan• across southern Guatemala and onwards into

El Salvador, and the southern lowlands of the Pacific littoral plain.

Inca• The Inca Empire, also known as the Incan

Empire, was the largest empire in pre-Columbian America.

Modern Day• Native American civilizations are difficult to

arrange chronologically. The three best known civilizations (Maya, Aztec, and Inca) are contemporaneous with Medieval Europe.

Language• Languages of the Americas, and differences

between others, and have grouped them into families.
