You will have free time to enjoy all Itasca and Chicago have to offer!

Most families gather medical information online and through traditional news outlets. Misinformation abounds, making it important for pediatricians to share evidence-based content in these spaces. You will learn effective engagement strategies including best practices for social media platforms, content curation, storytelling, blog writing, podcasting, video creation, writing for print publications and participating in television interviews. We’ll also explore the use of digital media in advocacy work and share anticipatory guidance for families as they consider their own media habits.
