European Influence

• With the growing popularity of European movie stars new accents came from unique moral values on alcohol, race, fashion smoking and religion. This new media fame became everyones focus creating people to emulate their new idols and take attention away from religion.

• America soon became facinated with the French and the pariasian cabarets. Movies started to focus on these topics with movies and plays such as cabaret, guys and dolls etc. Just the same, Europeans were facinated with American Movies and our new celebrities.

European imperialism• European nations started to govern new territories from their

homelands, this was a new change.• By WWI Europeans descendents which were now americans had

established control over every part of the world and the indigenous people such as the indians.

• At this time European countries moved in to conquer certain parts of Africa and Asia

• European civilization experienced a period of unprecedented rapid expansion around the globe during the last third of the nineteenth century. European nation-states had become very powerful because of industrialization and because of the organizational efficiency of the nation-state. European global expansion had actually begun in the fifteenth century, but the process greatly accelerated in the nineteenth century.
