The Amendment All presidential candidates must have a

campaign spending limit, no bias or negative “attack ads”, and nationally recognized site needs to be constructed that objectively evaluates every candidate by comparing views on the most relevant topics.

First Requirement All presidential candidates must have a

limit on their campaign budget. This will be determined by a council each

year taking into consideration inflation rates of the past year and the cost of reaching the majority of the public.

Example: Barack Obama’s presidential campaign shattered all records by raising $760 million in the last election cycle. That record is not likely to last much longer — Obama is expected to raise more than $1 billion for his re-election campaign.

2nd Requirement Presidential campaign ads will be restricted to

addressing the views of the individual candidate presented and cannot be any sort of “attack ad.” Bias on all ads should be restricted to a minimum and must be approved by a committee before circulating.

Example: A staggering 92 percent of the political ads run in Florida over the last week of the campaign have been negative.

3rd Requirement A nationally recognized site needs to be

constructed that objectively evaluates every candidate by comparing views on the most relevant topics. Example: On Mitt Romney's presidential

website there is a section dedicated to Obama’s Failures and bashing what he has done. Mitt then has a section after that stating his “Plan”.
