She teaches in the areas of adult development and female roles in contemporary society, history of western feminisms, and feminist psychoanalytic theories. Her research interests include theories of gender, the history of women in psychology, caregiving, gender and math, and women in science. She is currently beginning a long term project on the history of women in psychology and psychoanalysis.
