including a superb display of mosaics. Finish off your adventure in Naples while savoring a local specialty for lunch. Pizza wasborn in Naples, and Neapolitan pizza is evenrecognized by UNESCO. larger of the two cities, was covered by ash.The resulting preservation of these two citiesis unlike anything else in the world. Marvel at the grid-like streets, bordered with bars,shops and public baths, and see everythingfrom mosaics to furniture to frescoes in theForum. You will encounter a history lesson like no other today!
