Family run since 1945

Bryn Davies made a promise to a fellow servicemen during the Second World War a job would be waiting when the war was over. In 1945, Bryn honoured that promise and established his business in central Cardiff.

In 1969 his Grandson joined the business to develop awareness of the benefits of a new range of aluminium ladders over traditional wooden ladders.

Over the years since then, we have continued to improve ladder safety with a steady flow of ground-breaking innovations. TB Davies was one of the first to introduce hinged multi-function ladders to more recent collaborations with international partners like Little Giant and their HyperLite range of fibreglass ladders and Safety Cages.

As one of the United Kingdom’s only continually operating ladder companies, we remain committed to our founder’s values of trust, dependability, and keeping our community safe.

Designed to conform to the new EN131 standards, this Professional Extension Ladder is available in double and triple extension ladder options. The Little Giant Xtreme™ is a multi-use ladder system made up of four major components: one inner ladder assembly, two outer ladder assemblies that telescope over the inner section, and the AirDeck® , which serves as both a safety handrail and as a tool tray. The Ground Cue® trains the operator to feel and hear an audible alert reminding him or her it is safe to step off the ladder. Light-Duty Scaffold TowerThe Light-Duty tower is a strong but lightweight aluminium scaffold tower ideal for jobs around your home or garden. Perfect for jobs that need you to work at height, especially where the jobs require both hands like painting or replacing guttering. Easy to erect and simple to move around, just tilt it back and push around on its wheels. Easily store in your garage or shed when not in use. The base unit has a working height of just over 4.0m, so the upper windows of your home will be well within reach. LuxFoldThe TB Davies LuxFold timber loft ladders are produced using Renewable Energy and the finest PEFC sustainably sourced timbers. The Nordic Spruce treads connect to the stiles using craftsman’s dovetail joints to provide a strong, robust ladder for regular climbing. Double counterbalanced trap door allows smooth fingertip control incorporating an integrated twin action lock, to ensure the very tightest fitting. The extra thick 87mm trapdoor delivers an industry leading U-Value of just 0.59W/m2K (the lower the figure, the better the insulation) and features a clean white finish to enhance your décor.
