Rules of walking in the hallway
• Walking in the hallways is safe and respectful.
• If you run in the hallways you can get hurt or in trouble.
• If it is against the rules you don’t need to break them.
• So seriously kids, DON’T RUN IN THE HALLS!!
Be good in the halls
• Walking in the hallways is the safest way to get to class. The halls are dangerous if you don’t follow the rules.
• Example: Tom walks into the school, walks to his locker, and calmly talks to his friends before the class bell rings.
Bad in the halls
• Do not run in the hallways
• Do not horseplay in the hallways
• Non Example: John and Mike ran down the hallway to their friend bill, and started to wrestle.
Be good kids.

so he runs out of the cafeteria and shoves his way through the students trying to get to the cafeteria
– Stephanie meanders back and forth across the hall talking to her friends.
– The bell rings and the class exits into the hallway. Craig pauses to let Sue get to her locker, then proceeds down the hall to his next class.
