Alumni Association founded by graduates of the Department of International Management at FH Joanneum, Graz

4 types of members:- full members (graduates, dispose of active and passive voting rights)

- non-full members (students, lecturers, exchange students)

- honorary members (net to get appointed)

- company members (representatives of interested companies)

Membership application- informal application per E-Mail to alumnimig@fh-joanneum.at

7 Representatives (board) of the association:- President incl. 2 deputies- Cashier incl. 1 deputy- Reporter incl. 1 deputy

Term of office: 2 years

Regular meetings of the board – every 6-8 weeks

Other functions supporting alumniMIG:- General assembly- 2 Auditors (also graduates)- Arbitral tribunal (conscribed when needed)

Why was alumniMIG founded?Why was alumniMIG founded?

Main goals:- improving the communication between alumni, students, teaching staff

and other members of the Department of International Management

- supporting its members in all regards and setting up of an international network, exchange of know-how, expertise and the linkage to companies interested in cooperating with graduates

- improving the international management programme at the FH Joanneum, Graz, by giving regular feedback about which skills and competences a graduate of the programme needs to acquire during the studies in order to be competitive

Funds do only come from:- sponsoring

- membership fees (€ 20 for 2011)

- subsidies

- other grants

No payments for the work of board members!
