Georgia Holland REACH lab tourThe Research in Exercise and Cardiovascular Health (REACH) Laboratory assesses cardiovascular, cerebrovascular and pulmonary fitness in healthy, clinical, and sub-clinical populations and is invested in developing effective exercise interventions that will maximize cardiovascular and pulmonary health in people with and without disease. The REACH Lab is interested in understanding how exercise interventions can improve overall health. We use non-invasive methods of assessment including vascular blood flow, heart rate variability, pulmonary function testing, body composition assessment, functional assessment of activities of daily living, maximal and submaximal exercise testing. Cancer Center Lab ToursThe University of Kansas Cancer Center earned National Cancer Institute designation in June 2012. Ground breaking research is happening right here on the KUMC campus.
