CHARITY POKER FACTYou have thousands of poker players in your database right now. These poker players

are loyal to the game and waiting for you to reach out with an invitation to a poker

event for your organization. Poker events are very unique in that they will not canibalize other fundraising activi-

ties. In fact, hosting a poker event is a great way to activate new sponsors, re-activate sponsors who have become

lethargic and present a great event that alumni association and athletic foundation supporters will look forward to

each and every year. Poker events will not take away from your existing fundraising. Poker players will play poker

Alumni Poker Tour events consist of five to ten spon-sors who are provided with a rich package of benefits including branding before and at the event as well as VIP tables. Typical sponsor revenue is between $100K and $200K per event with a 95% renewal rate. 1

REBUYS 9%

Rebuys are available to players who have busted out of the tournament and want to rejoin the event. The rebuy period lasts until the first break. Rebuy revenue is a significant factor, oftentimes the total is equal to or greater than the entry fee (tables & tickets) reve-nue. Rebuy revenue averages $26,000 per event.

Q. Can we have a poker fundraiser in our state?A. YES! Through extensive legal research, we have developed a non-gambling structure that we activate in any area that this is an issue. We guarantee that there will be no legal issues with your APT Event. Q. Is your package a turnkey solution?A. Yes, due to the numerous requests for a simple, high quality turnkey event, we have bundled a package that includes our APT Tables & Chips and our professional Dealers and Tournament Direc-tors along with everything else you need to host a APT event. The details are included in this guide.

Q. How much money can we raise?A. On the low end, Organizations can expect to raise between $50,000 and $100,000 after all APT event expenses. Many events have the opportunity to earn $200,000 and more. In fact, we have several events that have worked their way up to over a $1 million payday for the organization.

Q. How much work do we have to do?A. We handle everything except the venue, food & beverage and the sponsorship, ticket and table sales. We even provide pre-designed layouts for save-the-date cards, brochures, invitations, spon-sorship decks, posters and thank you notes along with email templates and text to assist with your fundraising efforts.

Q. What does the fundraising consist of?A. Simply send out the invitations to your members via email or mail and post the event prominently on your websiite and calendar. That’s all you need to do. There is no risk - no loss. You earn revenue from dollar one!

Q. How are we able to raise so much money?A. Our event structure is custom designed to maximize revenue to the Organization by allowing players who bust out of the tournament to make optional additional donations and re-enter the tournament. In addition, we allow all players to make one final additional donation before the first break that will add additional chips. We average 1.5 to 2.5 additional donations per player!

Q. How are we going to sell 200 seats in the Poker Tournament?A. By utilizing our unique table captain format, Organizations are able to activate their fundrais-ing committee, have them find 20 table captains and then have each table captain round out their team of 10. This enables the Organization to reach far beyond their membership and ensure a sold out event.

APT LicensingYour Nonprofit Organization (NPO) receives a license to use the Alumni Poker Tour and APT logos and marks and present the event as an Official Alumni Poker Tour event. Also includes sub–license that enables sponsors to use Alumni Poker Tour marks as Official Sponsors of your APT™ event.

APT Fundraising ConsultingWe include unlimited consulting on all event and fundraising elements from our team of experienced fundraising experts. Our team has raised over $15 Million for nonprofits and has over 30 years of Fundraising Experience. Simply call or email and one of our experts will assist and guide you and your team to success.

Tournament ManagementThe APT™ professionally handles all aspects of the tournament. Professional Dealers & Tournament Directors We include professionally trained, experienced uniformed poker dealers. Our dealers are not “casino party” dealers as you find in virtually all casino/poker rental companies. Simply stated, our dealers are the best in the business. Most work the World Series of Poker, have dealt the President Clinton Global Initiative Foundation and Super Bowl events (at President Clinton’s event we raise over $2 Million in one night!). All APT Tournament Directors are members of the Tournament Directors Association (TDA) and are highly trained to ensure a professionaly run event.

Special Guest Host/HonoreeHonor a special donor for his/her support of the event. The Special Guest Honoree will be introduced by our Tournament Director and after saying a few words, he/she will get to start the Tournament by announcing “Shuffle Up & Deal”.

Set Up & Removal of Tables & Event EquipmentThe APT Quick Pack Transportation System allows for a quick set up and removal. Our team seamlessly works with other vendors and staff to ensure a hassle free set up and removal of all APT equipment.

APT Casino Quality Poker PackageThis includes up to 20 APT professional, casino-quality poker tables along with the stunning Alumni Poker Tour Final Table. The APT tables are full size (8’ x 4’) and custom made for the APT by 916 Poker Depot. Party Casino companies use low quality imported tables that are only 7’ in length making it impossible to seat 10 players plus a dealer. The number one complaint amongst fundraisers is poor quality tables. APT tables are requested at the highest profile events in the country including President Clinton’s World Series of Poker Experience event in Los Angeles and many others. Custom casino quality chips and high quality Kem Poker Cards from the World Series of Poker are also included.
