Formal Recruitment The Alpha Xi Delta SIGMA CHAPTER MONTHLY CIRCULAR Centennial Success! The Sigma chapter celebrated 100 years of sisterhood in early October, and Sigma sisters past and present were able to celebrate together at 114 East Fairchild Street. Culminating the weekend of festivities was an open house where alumnae shared stories with current members of their times in the house and were able to see the changes made to the house they once called home. "Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall." – The Great Gatsby September brings many of the Alpha Xi’s favorite things- among those being Bid Day, the start of football season, and the Sisterhood trip to Wilson’s Apple Orchard. This fall was full of exciting events! The Xi’s were paired with the gentlemen of Delta Tau Delta and Phi Gamma Delta for the Homecoming events, and the group received second place overall after a stellar dance performance at the Iowa Shout event. FALL 2012 The Sigma Chapter had a very successful Fall Formal Recruitment. With eighty three initiated members to help recruit potential new sisters, the women enjoyed getting to know one another even better and meeting forty-six beautiful Baby Xi’s, including four legacies. The Fall 2012 New Member class brings chapter total to 122 women. We couldn’t have done it without the help from our wonderful alumnae who donated their time and friendly smiles throughout Recruitment.
