His exquisite work sets him apart from any other blacksmith or metalsmith....his versatility and diversity in design has allowed for the creation of some of the most remarkable pieces ever formed in metal. From his Gothic life-like “Black Widow Chandelier" to his Art Nouveau inspired "Calla Lily and Vine" series of

About Our Cast Aluminum Gates

We are the exception to the masses of cheap mass manufactured and poorly crafted gates available. Our aluminum gates grace the entrances and gardens of some of the most prestigious upscale homes and private resorts across the country. These beautiful aluminum gates have even been featured on the popular home show “Curb Appeal” to rave reviews.

Our gates are meant to last decades not years like most others. These exquisitely designed gates add elegance all their own whether they are securing a private residence, large upscale development or private resort. They are the perfect choice for clients who enjoy the very intricate and ornate designs only cast metals can offer. Our aluminum gates are lightweight, nearly maintenance free and are perfect for areas with corrosive and extreme climates such as ocean front.

Our driveway gates are as secure as they are beautiful. Extremely strong they area made from durable commercial grade aluminum. The frames are made from structural grade 6063 aluminum. All other elements including hinges, latches and dead bolts, ground anchors and rollers are designed and engineered to minimize maintenance costs and minimize or eliminate rust or corrosion concerns by using stainless steel or galvanized metal components. The gate or fence sections are carefully hand prepped and pre-finished with a factory applied four-coat acrylic paint available in a wide range of colors as well as faux finishes in Antique Bronze or Antique Patina Green. Metallic paint finishes are available in bronze, gun metal gray, and green.

Material Specs: The aluminum driveway gate perimeter frames are made with heavy-duty, extruded 6063 aluminum profiles. The standard frame used on most driveway gates, garden and courtyard gates measures approximately 1.5” x 3”. Each driveway gate frame comes pre-hung and hinged with optional ground anchors.

The aluminum driveway gate hinge system consists of a stainless steel pin-and-barrel hinge with grease port and ball bearing load point. Hinges are available in 2” and 1.5” diameters.


Depending on gate size and weight, hinges are engineered to a maximum 600 lb. load per hinge. Hinges are welded to a galvanized steel bracket secured to the aluminum extruded frame by four 1/4” steel rivet pins. Brackets and hinges come pre-finished to match the gate paint finish.

Cast Aluminum vs. Wrought Iron: Many of our clients initially contact us with interest in wrought iron gates, but are pleasantly surprised to discover our alternative aluminum series which is less costly and just as beautiful. Although the metals appear both very similar and shiny in the raw form prior to finish, Aluminum offers several important benefits that wrought iron cannot. Like wrought iron structural grade aluminum is very strong and durable. It is often used structurally for building commercial buildings. It also does not rust like wrought iron and consequently offers a nearly maintenance free product. Another unique quality to aluminum is that it is also very lightweight. This is an important feature for our gates as it beneficially causes minimal wear on expensive gate automation equipment.

Wrought iron and cast aluminum differ also by method of manufacture. Cast aluminum is processed using a mold pouring method similar to cast iron whereas wrought iron begins in long rods. Many items labeled “wrought iron” on the market today are anything but, as true hand forged wrought iron is heated and formed by a blacksmith with hand tools and an anvil. It is a very labor intensive and expensive process that takes a very skilled craftsman. Our cast aluminum gates are a wonderful alternative for those seeking the cast iron look without the rust and maintenance.
