A Spiritual Bouquet for
Father Bill! Please join in community to create a Spiritual Bouquet for Fr. Bill for the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday. So,
what is a spiritual bouquet? You can offer prayers, Holy Hours, Masses, Sacrifices, Devotions including Rosaries and so forth for Fr. Bill. There are tally sheets and flower petals in the gathering space. You can either tally the prayers you offer on the tally sheets or especially for kids write them on a petal. We will have students help put the cards and petals together into flowers and cards to send to Fr. Bill for Thanksgiving. Please see details in the gathering space.
100 WOMEN WHO CARE We are looking for more women who are interested in
making a difference in Livingston County. We had our first
meeting in May and raised over $7,000 in one hour for 2
local groups. Each woman commits to contributing $100 at
the meeting. Come to the meeting with the name of your
favorite local Livingston County charity. All charity names
are put in a basket and 3 are chosen. After hearing a
presentation about the 3 charities, we vote for our favorite
charity. It’s an easy and fast way to help our community. We
will be meeting Monday, November 5, 2012, at 7pm at
Portage Lake Yacht Club. Please contact:

offering education and employment services to returning
servicemen. In less than 2 years, the Knights of Columbus
Bureau of employment placed some 100,000 people in jobs.
The Order’s presence in Europe continued as well. In
August, 1920, 235 Knights made a pilgrimage to Rome.
Pope Benedict XV invited them to build several recreation

Any place where the Lord’s name is held sacred, and where his people live in obedience and love, carries a special blessing. This is true of every ‘domestic church’ – every family that is set apart for the Lord. If you don’t do so already, suggest to your family that you come together each day or week to pray. Include in your petitions the needs of families everywhere. Is there something you or your family can do to build up your own parish? Pray about whether God may be calling you to contribute your time and talent to your church. How may he want to use you to bring more of his life into your parish family? Jesus, bring the river of living water to each of us in your church. Through us, bring healing to all the nations.
Everything will live where the river goes. (Ezekiel 47:9)
