Lives in eastern Russia’s coniferous and birch forests
Some found in China & North KoreaWarm summers

Severely affected by the Russian Civil War in 1930’s
Declared endangered in 1959, awarded protection
Endangered species list listed them as endangered in 1970
Started working on the Siberian Tiger Project in 1992
