Alsina provides on-site training; our Technicians/SalesRepresentatives, at the request of the client, visit many sites daily

where, besides giving advice on the use and assembly of the

different formwork systems, they can lead training sessions.

HEAD OFFICE - Safety Department 

When our clients first contract the Alsipercha fall prevention

system, and would like their operators to be trained, they

may request this at no extra cost. An Alsina technician/sales

representative will go to the work site and conduct a training

session, issuing a certificate of achievement for both the

company and the worker.

In certain cases these sessions may be extended to other

products (Multidirectional, etc.).

In collaboration with the Gaudí Institute of Construction,

and the support of the Generalitat de Catalunya, a 10 hour

long prevention course for formwork has been organized.

The practical theoretical course is conducted by specialized

personnel and the documentation is distributed in different

languages. Upon the completion of the course, all the training

requirements of the Subcontracting Law will have been

fulfilled.

The Alsipercha fall prevention system consists of a foldable steel

body and a retractable device that locks when subjected to sudden

acceleration (like a seatbelt in a car).

The Alsipercha fall prevention system allows the operator to safely

carry out all the operations that involve a risk of falling from a height,

such as installing panels, safety railings, risers and any other

situation generally related with the assembly of the formwork.

We will first insert a conical metal tube

into the concrete pillars (approximately

50% of those of the surface to reinforce)

in order facilitate the housing of the

Alsipercha.

The Alsipercha fall prevention

system can also be used in metal pillars

profile type IPE, IPN, HEB, etc. and with

cross section between 15 and 45 cm. To

do so, we must use the assembly of the

metal pillar clip and metal pillar cup clip

parts. Both manufactured in compliance

with standard UNE EN-795 and certified

by Applus.

Detail of how the conical shape in the base

of the Alsipercha helps it being introduced

into the pillar tube.

Once the concrete has reached 40

Kg/cm2 (15% of its resistance) the

Alsipercha can be positioned.

We will then insert the system in

the conical tube and the operator willanchor to the retractable device with a

safety harness.

At this point, the operator can work

freely with an operating range of 6.5 m,

which means around 125 m2.

First we shall place the tubes in those

pillars (blue) in which we will insert the

fall arrester system.

Next we shall start the paneling

process from one end of the surface

and working secured within a radius of

6.5 m, which equals some 125 m2.

When changing anchor points between Alsiperchas, the

operator is always secure. If the Alsipercha is out of reach, use

the hook accessory to move it c loser.

The paneling of the su rface can be completed comfortably

and safely by several operators at the same time.

The incorporated release system means quicker form removal, reducing the post-

shore removal time approximately 80%, compared with a conventional post-shore.

The A3, with a tube and body anti-separation system, prevents the

tubes from falling; especially dangerous when using the crane.

With the A3, it has been possible to combine two contrasting properties in

one product: the lightness of the traditional Spanish post-shore and the high

resistance necessary for the strict European Standard EN-1065.

Because of the release system, it is not necessary to hit the lower part of

the post-shore body or the handles of the thread to remove it. This means

working less and less wear and tear on material.

It is very simple to position and no threaded element

is needed. It incorporates a closing system that, with a

simple hit of a hammer, closes and opens the hook, in

this way assuring the stability of the post-shores when

starting the procedure.

Drop head 

The drop head with wood is a component of the

Alumecano and Alucubetas System. Its design facilitates

the removal of the surface formwork (Alisan panels,

three-ply panel, phenolic plywood or Alisan coffer).

Alsina has a wide range of railings, to protect our formwork systems and to protectthe concrete slabs once made (1).

- Compliance with Law 31/95 for Labor Risk Prevention, which

stipulates that the distance between the highest part of the protection

and the work surface is at least 1 m, is fully guaranteed with the

Alsina Guardrails of 1.2 and 1.5 m.

- Thanks to the new Alsina Basquit, the formwork railing can be moved

to the slab, greatly simplifying the logistics.

- The guardrails of 1.20 m may be used for both traditional wood

handrails and for the new Steel Mesh Barrier.

- Protection components manufactured with highly resistant and

durable materials

 Alsina's new Steel Mesh Barrier providin g:

- Greater sense of security

- Greater productivity: one single operator can

handle each unit and position it in approximately

12 seconds, significantly faster than assembling

Designed without thread in the upper part to avoid

concrete accumulation, it has an easy to remove

base plate and various possibilities for securing to

the ground.

Site Stairway* 

Alsina's Site Stairway is a moveable and folding stairway

made of steel.

By changing the angle of this stairway, it is possible to

reach different heights (up to a maximum of 4.3 m).

The steps are joined, with turning capacity, to four side

support beams (two in each side). In this way, the stairway

always keeps the steps horizontal, independent from the

inclination level and the height.

or between the concrete floors

only 2 operators, it is ready for use.

- Available in 12, 15 and 18 steps.

- Standard width of 75 cm, which allows up to
