He served in and has operational experience in Cambodia and Laos. Mr. Gomez served on detached duty to the U.S. State Department [Diplomatic Security Service] and operated from U.S. Embassies in Manila and Saigon required Top Secret security clearance, involved in both open and covert operations. In 1992 Mr. Gomez spent 18 months aboard the SSC Radisson Diamond, a five-star luxury cruise ship. Mr. Gomez concentrated on crew training, non-security personnel, along with the training of the ship’s private security force in the use of state of the art security equipment. He recruited, motivated and trained a force of 6 men. He developed, customized and standardized security procedures for the ship to be in compliance with IMO resolutions, S.O.L.A.S. regulations and U.S. Coast Guard regulations. Mr. Gomez was commended by Prince Ranier of Monaco for the personal leadership role in the security of the Prince while aboard ship, and the coordination with the Prince’s personal security detail. As part of his duties, Mr. Gomez evaluated and coordinated with local authorities at seaports in both the Mediterranean and Caribbean to insure the safety of cruise passengers. Mr. Gomez is considered an expert security consultant in travel related issues by the U.S. Coast Guard and the Federal Aviation Administration. Mr. Gomez has received both U.S. and Israeli training in intelligence operations, airport secu-rity, advanced investigations, and interrogation, and is considered an expert in these fields by his clients. He has lectured extensively on security matters throughout Latin America and Eu-rope.

Mr. Gomez worked as a civilian security manager for Pan American World Airways, Inc. In deployments to Los Angeles, Santo Domingo, Jamaica and various other locations throughout the world, his mission was to evaluate, motivate, and train security screeners, guards and sup-port personnel to be more stringent in their duties while maintaining a high level of profes-sionalism. After the terrorist bombing of Pan Am flight 103, he was chosen as a member of the investigation team deployed to Germany and England for three months where he was tasked with evaluating and reorganizing the security force in both Germany and England, as well as training new personnel to comply with Federal Aviation Administration regulations.

In 1990 he worked closely with the U.S. Air Force during the invasion of Panama. As a result of his efforts, two associates of General Noriega wanted by the United States were appre-hended by Air Force Security Police. When the airport in Panama was shut down, Mr. Gomez took personal charge of the security X-Ray machine at the Pan Am terminal. This allowed Pan Am to be the only airline allowed to fly in and out of Panama. He also initiated aggressive motivational training for civilian security personnel in compliance of Federal Aviation Ad-ministration regulations as a prelude to turning airport security back over to civilian control. Mr. Gomez received a letter of appreciation from the commanding officer of U.S. Air Force Security Police.

In 1994 at the request of the National Football League, Mr. Gomez developed, authored, and coordinated with the FBI Anti-Terrorist task force, “The Anti-Terrorist Emergency Plan for Joe Robbie Stadium” in Miami, Florida USA. In 1995 he was contracted by the owner of the Baltimore Ravens Football Franchise and served on the personal staff of the owner for 14 months. His duties consisted of executive protection of the owner and his family. He coordi-nated with local, state, and federal law enforcement authorities in this duty. He recruited and trained a driver and bodyguard in defensive and offensive driving as well as the finer points of executive protection. Mr. Gomez currently serves as senior security consultant to the fran-chise.

Currently an Independent Contractor/Consultant on Security matters both business and per-sonal and principal of Eagle Group International, Inc, specialized in pre-employment back-ground investigations of Upper Management Executives. Experts in Executive armed protec-tion and in depth International business research for clients considering expansion into the In-ternational Marketplace. Also consulting on security matters both personal and business re-lated.

Mr. Gomez is a member of the Overseas Security Advisory Council and the Association of Former Intelligence Officers. He is also a licensed Private Investigator in the State of Florida. He is fluent in English and Spanish and has a working knowledge of Portuguese and Tagalog (Filipino)
