Product Introduction

Alpha-100 grinder and polisher is suitable for rough grinding, fine grinding and polishing

of metallographic/ petrographic samples. It is widely used for material analysis/ theory

analysis laboratories in various enterprises and scientific research institutions.

○1 ○2 ○3 ：3 preset speed buttons. (P1, P2 and P3)

○4 ：Speed adjustment ring. Used on speed or value adjustment.

○5 : Disc direction selected button.

○6 ：Flush button.

○7 ：Power ON/OFF button of the panel.

○8 ：Water activated mode selected button. Light up this button, the water valve will

turn ON/OFF automated along with the disc.

○9 ：Manually control water valve.

○10：Active speed adjustable mode button. In this mode, the speed can be adjusted by

sliding ring. If slide clockwise, the speed increases; if slide counterclockwise, the speed

decreases. The interval is 50RPM.

○11 ：Start / Stop button.

○12：LED to display disc speed rpm.

How to change and save the pre-set speed?

Press the P1(P2/P3) button three times. Then the LED will flash and the speed adjustment

ring will light up. Sliding on the ring the change the speed. After that, press the P1(P2/P3)

button again to exit and save the speed value.

How to change and save the flush time?

Press the FLUSH button three times. Then the LED will flash and the speed adjustment

ring will light up. Sliding on the ring the change the speed. After that, press the FLUSH

button again to exit and save the speed value.

Back panel operation instruction

①Power socket；

②Fuse box；10A；

③Power I/O switch; Lights up, power on；

④Selection of the working mode of flushing sprinkler in working disc. Press down the

button and the working disc will be flushed automatically after runing. When the button

pops up, it will not automatically flush；

⑤Cooling water (faucet) intake fast connection-peg. PE Pipe with Φ8mm (3/8inch) Outer

⑥In-working disc flushing water inlet joint.PE Pipe with Φ10mm(13/32inch) Outer

Diameter；

⑦Water outlet pipe joint。Bellow with Φ32mm(1-1/4inch) Internal Diameter；

⑧Cooling fan。When the temperature of the motor exceeds 50˚C (32°F), the fan opens

automatically and the fan stops automatically until the temperature is below 40˚C (104°F)；
