That was the ALMiG summer party

On September 15th the first ALMiG summer party since four years took place. With good music, very tasty food and chilled drinks at perfect late summer temperatures the party was exuberant. The children didn‘t get bored with the painting corner and the bouncy castle and the XXL table football also offered a lot of fun for the adults. The exciting company tour, conducted by Alkan Cebeci and Ralph Jeschabek, gave an insight into the administration building and the production halls. At this point we would like to thank the organizers of the summer party Xinran Yang and Abdelkader Guitoni, who took on a lot of work to offer all colleagues a great party. Our thanks also go to all the helpers who helped with the construction and dismantling. That this took a lot of time can be seen on the before/after pictures.

Big launch event in Mexico

Our colleagues Andreas Greiner and Carles Claret organized and carried out a big launch event in San Luis Potosí in Mexico. At the event the latest products of ALMiG and firstAir were presented to interested dealers. Also some exhibits such as a V-Drive and various firstAir systems were shown at the event. So far we had three ALMiG and firstAir dealers in Mexico and will gain some new dealers through this event, so that we have a complete dealer network in Mexico. In addition to the exciting product presentations, there was also a colourful supporting programme with good music and delicious food.

EnAIRgy efficiency kick-off in Kaarst

The first EnAIRgieeffizienz kick-off for all interested dealers took place in our Kaarst branch on September 7th. The new XP series as well as our V-Drive and our new energy-saving refrigerant dryer ALM-E were presented at the event. firstAir machines were also exhibited in Kaarst, so that interested visitors could also take a closer look at these systems.

Paul Steinbach, Ralph Jeschabek, Frank Uhlemann and Wolfgang Seitz presented the machines to almost 20 partners.Many thanks for the great organisation to Paul Steinbach and Sylvia Ulrich in Kaarst as well as to Vanessa Deuschle from our factory in Köngen.Two further EnAIRgieeffizienz kick-off events will follow in October. On October 12th in Köngen and on October 23rd in Halle with an ALMiG partner.

Compressed air seminar in Mannheim

At our partner G. Wegener GmbH a compressed air seminar took place on September 13th, which our partner organizes at least once a year. This time again just over 20 people were shown how to ensure an energy-efficient compressed air supply.The seminar was conducted by Ralph Jeschabek.

Exciting project - Black Point Power Station

Our project department, headed by Ralph Rechert, has again succeeded in successfully implementing an exciting project for the customer Siemens Ltd Seoul.For a power plant in Hong Kong, a skid with two LENTO 70s, two dryers and four receiver was installed.The skid was accepted by the customer here in our plant in mid-September without any complaints.

Almost all departments were involved in this project, which shows that all teams and every single employee are important for the successful implementation of projects.

Successful fair in Avignon, France

In the last week of September, the industrial fair SEPEM Industries took place in Avignon, France at which ALMiG participated with a booth. Our four French colleagues Stéphane Sardinha, Martial Bertin, Franck Fournier and Adrien Thevenin as well as Jennifer Jebe were on site to present our new XP series as well as a V-Drive and a firstAir FAS AT. The team was able to make interesting and promising contacts in order to advance ALMiG and firstAir even further in France.

Launch event in Singapore

In Singapore, we have recently found a new partner who has previously sold vacuum machines and now also includes ALMiG compressors in its product range. On this occasion, APP organized a two-day launch event for energy efficiency consultants and engineering offices in Singapore on the subject of energy-efficient compressed air generation. Each day around 20 interested parties took part in the event, which was organised by Ralph Jeschabek and Ian Wild.

After the event, Ralph Jeschabek conducted a training session for the APP staff, which included training for our new room planner.

firstAir celebrates over 1,000 compressors sold!

The firstAir team would like to announce this great result before the end of the year. Since we started selling the second brand firstAir in Germa-ny at the beginning of last year, our yellow compressors have exceeded the expectations of us and our partners. Initial reservations are diminis-hing every day and we are working every day to resolve even the last doubts.

After around 550 units sold in 2017, another 650 compressors were delivered to our customers by the end of August 2018. This means that more than 1,000 firstAir units are now in operation worldwide!Even if we don‘t directly notice it here at the Köngen location, around 70 units now leave our Erlenmayer warehouse every month. Others are picked up directly in Shanghai by container business, especially from partners in South America, Israel and Denmark.firstAir is thus developing, as hoped, into a mainstay that is making an additional contribution to order growth. Our target for the end of the year is therefore: 1,000 systems sold in 2018 alone!Text: Jennifer Jebe
