History!

When the Europeans came to California, 300,000 Natives had already inhabited the area. The Natives from years and years ago have populated the area around 10,000 years and maybe more. The Natives had more than 100 different languages and dialects. After the Mexican war, the Gold Rush began. In 1852, about $80 million of gold had been mined.

Population!

In California, the total population is 33,871,648 people. 49.8% of the state are males, and 50.2% are females. 13% of Americans live in California. Hispanics make up 25.8% of the state. Much of the population are born in countries such as Mexico, Germany, United Kingdom, and Korea. 55% of the residents were born out of state!

Tourism!

Fisherman’s wharf is a popular tour site. Walt Disney Concert Hall in

Los Angeles is a great site!
