Meet Nthabi and Thabile – twin sisters and major Mr Price fans! We met the twins at our live in-store Dare to do Denim shoot where they bowled us over with their mega-cute style! We knew they’d be perfect for rocking our matching summer separates.

MRP: What was it like to get the call from us, asking if you’d like to do a full-on shoot for our summer mag?! Thabi: We were astounded and couldn’t concentrate for the rest of the day....#hides!Nthabi: I was very excited, I couldn’t stop laughing!

MRP: Tell us about the shoot! Did you have fun?Thabi: It was a thrilling experience! I loved the stunning outfits that we got to shoot with!Nthabi: I enjoyed the street shoot with the music box.

Cape Town’s Jimmy Nevis is going places! Earlier this year, the twenty-one year old poprocker signed an exclusive deal with top American record label, Ultra Records, joining the likes of Benny Benassi and DeadMau5!

His journey to stardom began last year when he sent his first single, Elephant Shoes to local radio stations. The song instantly became a national hit.When asked what inspired him to chase after his dream, Jimmy says,

Jimmy, this year must have felt like a rollercoaster ride! How does it feel to go from writing songs in your bedroom,to becoming an internationally signed artist?

It’s crazy to think that this is all real. It still feels too good to be true. I’m just grateful for the team of people that have been with me thus far. What inspired your debut album, Subliminal?

The title is a reference to the various layers and depth in the lyrics. I wanted to almost, force people to think beyond the surface of the catchy beats and lyrical content.

Tell us about your personal style.

I like anything that is simple and clean. I don’t like it when things get too busy.

Whose style do you admire?

Kanye West is really trendy and fashion forward.

What do you like to wear on stage?

Well, I always wear the hat, the gloves and boots. I think that’s how people recognise me.

Describe your perfect summer.

A clear beach, close friends and family…a yacht in Italy...just everything! I want it all!

What will you be wearing this summer?

Lots of flip-flops, buttoned up short sleeve shirts and comfortable shorts.

Do you have a favourite pair of shorts?

Yes, grey trainer shorts. You can dress them up for a beach party or down for the gym.

What would you pack for a summer holiday?

Food, toiletries, a book, great music and a camera. No laptops and phones allowed!

Out of the Mr Price shorts you wore in our shoot, which are your favourites and why?

I liked the black denim shorts. They are really trendy and made me feel like I was in a summer music video. And that’s a good thing!
