RESEARCH AND EVALUATION EXPERIENCE Lead Research Assistant: On a SSHRC-funded project, High School Students in Applied English Programs, I examined curriculum documents across Canada to identify current approaches used to support high school learners who struggle to meet academic expectations. Also, ran generalizability studies using Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) school-level assessment data; findings informed project’s research design. Lead Research Assistant: Evaluated an Ontario Ministry of Education initiative, the Building Capacity in Assessment for Learning project in two school boards. Developed student questionnaires with research team; managed the collaborative data collection and analyses of principal interviews, and teacher and student questionnaires; and co-authored evaluation report.
