excited to see what God
will do for the women
through each of us as we
embark on this journey
together and with Him this
coming year.
Job 12:13 says, “To God
belong wisdom and power;
counsel and understanding
are his,” and Proverbs 2:6
says, “For the Lord gives
wisdom; from his mouth
come knowledge and un-
derstanding.” May God
favor us and grant us wis-
dom to lead the women!

District Director
Congratulations on your
new role as Director for
the women in your church!
Thank you for hearing His
call and being obedient to
the call. Henry T. Blackaby
writes, “The reality is that
the Lord never calls the
qualified; He qualifies the
called.” You have been
chosen, handpicked, and
called out of many people,
by God to lead the women
in your church into an un-
known place. This can be
an exciting, challenging
and even scary step at the
same time. What a great
blessing it is that God
chose, picked and called
you. Blackaby also says,
“We don't choose what we
will do for God; He invites
us to join Him where He
wants to involve us.” I am
honored to have this op-
portunity to partner with
you to serve the women in
such a time as this. I am so
Our new theme for 2016 is God’s Positioning System - Placed for a Purpose (Tso Nrog Homphiaj). This theme focuses on our pur-pose here on earth. Wher-ever God placed us (where we live, where we work,
where we attend church, etc.), He has a purpose for us being there. Acts 17:26b-27a says, “. . . He determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should
live. God did this so that men would seek Him.” Please refer to more infor-mation enclosed.

“Strong families
make strong
churches.” -
Joseph Stephen
Transformed Family Ministry
National Project Overview
2015- 2016 National Project;
“God’s Positioning System -
Placed For a Purpose” is cen-
tered on those people around
the world for whatever reason
have been scattered away
from an established or ances-
tral homeland. For some it’s
being on the move from life
threatening wars, persecution
or poverty. Often the flight is
at great risk to
them and their families.
Thousands often do not
make it to that safe place.
Those who do make it find themselves in a strange land. This is where our National Project steps up to provide funds for our Alliance international work-ers to offer services – such as language learning, job training, help with govern- ment paper work, or finding a place to live –
they establish relationships of trust, and people are open to the gospel. As friendships develop, Alliance workers verbally share God’s love, people become Christ followers, and we bring them together in small communities of fellowship to worship.
The goal is to raise $335,000 for the National Project in 2015-2016. Please help GCW reach its goal by supporting.
4 marriage conferences enti-
tled “Transformed Family
Ministry.” Our hope and
goal is that through these
conferences, marriages and
families will become
stronger. This in turn will
make the churches become
healthier and stronger as
well.
The dates and places for
these conferences will be as
follows:
March 11-13, 2016 – GA
April 29 – May 1, 2016 – CA
September 2-4, 2016 – MI
October 7-9, 2016 – WI
Please encourage your
women and their spouses
to save these dates. We
will send out more infor-
mation once we have the
exact places and prices, etc.
We believe strongly that for
the churches to be healthy
and strong, it starts from
our marriages and families.
Marriage and family are
divine institutions created
by God, but we have ne-
glected these institutions
for so long. For years now
our churches are no longer
strong, instead they have
become stagnant and
plateaud. This year,

Convention in Thailand
Alliance Women Ministries plans to
host a convention in Thailand for
women from Thailand, Laos, Vi-
etnam, China, Myanmar, and other
parts of the country, but due to
time constraints, we have decided
to postpone the
convention to the
summer of 2017.
This way it will give
us more time to
pray, prepare and
get the funds need-
ed.
In the meantime, I encourage
women everywhere to pray with us
for God to open doors so many
women, especially in closed coun-
tries, can come when we have the
convention in 2017. Also pray for
provisions financially, for AWM and
the women that will be coming to
the convention.
We encourage you to pray to see
how God wants you to help in this
process. Ask God to stir in your
heart and hearts of women across
the US to join with us in accom-
plishing this ministry for our sisters
abroad. You can join us in the
following ways: (1) go on the trip
with us, (2) pray for us, (3) give
financially or sponsor one or two
or three women to come to the
convention.

them time.”
AWM would like to start this in-
vestment process by holding 3 lead-
ership trainings in 2016. The dates
and places for these leadership
trainings are:
Jan. 29-31, 2016 — Clearwater, FL
March 25-27, 2016 — Pontiac, MI
John Maxwell says, “Good leaders
understand that they are stewards.
They must find the best people
they can, giving them the oppor-
tunity to join in the journey devel-
oping them, and encouraging them
to reach their potential.” Maxwell
adds, “Leadership is influence,

do you gain influence from people?

milk and honey, but there are many
of our dear Hmong sisters in
Vietnam that are calling out to us
for help today. They are in need of
$8,000 for setting up two trainings
for our Hmong sisters on health
and self care during 2016.
These are our Hmong sisters. If we
don‟t help, who will? Are we going
to turn them away from their call
for help? Let us join with God in
this wonderful opportunity that He
is doing in Vietnam. Join AWM by
setting aside a day from your busy
schedules to do a one day project
fundraising towards this wonderful
cause. Let us share the abundance
we received from Christ above
with those who are calling out to
us for help today. One cannot do
it, but all of us with God‟s help, we
can make this happen for our sis-
ters in Vietnam!
