From the Pastor
Psalm 127:3 Behold, children are a gift of the Lord,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
You were very gracious this past Sunday as I gave you an
unexpected challenge to give up your pocket change for
the Life Walk benefiting our Pregnancy Help Center.
You gave over $750 without any notice. Penny will take
your gift with her to the walk. Thank you for giving.
Other exciting news came when Sue Kearney and Bette Wright joined our
fellowship. They are jumping right into some of our ministry opportunities
and I know you will get acquainted with them soon!
Our FAITH Evangelism ministry has already attempted more than 70
homes and we saw 4 people make professions of faith this past week.
Please remember to pray for our teams each Tuesday night as they attempt
to visit guests of our church and others who are new to our community.
We will be baptizing this Sunday morning. I invite you to come and take
part if you have been considering baptism for a while. Think of it as the
first steps of obedience and walking faithfully with your Lord. It truly is
exciting times at IBC!
Honored to be your pastor,
Bro. Tommy
