Has Changed House Cleaning
Practices
KEEPING the house in order once required a great deal of “woman power." Electricity
has changed that. Working through tested appliances, electricity maintains thé cleanliness demanded by the most exactin'« housekeeper, with no more demands upon her strength than the mere guiding of the appliance requires.
Polishing Floorsused to he a "down-on-the-knees" job. Now the electric floor po'isher makes the wood flooring gleam in a short time while the housekeeper merely guides the polisher. It goes under heavy furniture. It is light in weight and has the pistol grip handle. Cash pnee $33.7*. on terms $35.45.
Rugs and Carpetsretain their colors and the nap stands upn -ht when cleaned with the Hoover.
