‘All About the Beef’ Workshop Weekend hosted by Wallawong Murray Greys

Wallawong Murray Greys invite Murray Grey breeders and cattle enthusiasts alike from interstate

and within NSW to travel to and join in 2 days of practical workshops focusing on the modern beef

industry . Together we will cover a range of topics with practical demonstrations in as many parts

as possible. Young people aged 13 and over are encouraged to attend along with established pro-

ducers alike. Consider whether it could be a Breed Promotion Group activity or invite a group of

like minded producers. If you intend camping a responsible adult must attend with anyone under

18. Please encourage and engage any youth to attend and contact Kate with any questions.

by a buyer for major supermarkets and butcher shops)

10:00am: Live assessment and Ultrasound scanning of 12 Murray Grey steers destined for Sydney

Royal Steer and Carcase Competition (Roger Evans, Bovine Scanning Services)

1:00pm: Lunch and Close

The Tamworth North West Murray Grey Breed Promotion Group are proud to sponsor a young

person attending the ‘All About the Beef’ Workshops to travel and participate in the Murray Grey

Youth Ambassador Competition in Albury from 19th-21st April 2015. Please indicate on the regis-

tration form whether you would like to be considered for this prize. You must be 13-25yrs to apply.

A short interview will be conducted over the weekend to assess applicants.

However, we offer free camping in our sale shed using your own swag. There is access to 3 showers and 3 toilets in our house and guest cabin if you bring your own towels and necessities. You are also welcome to pitch a tent or park a camper trailer if you prefer.
