All About Pygmy Marmosets

Eagles, snakes and wild cats eat Marmosets. Marmosets will make a chorus of chirps as a warning sign.

Life Span

Marmosets live to their early 20s in zoos and in the wild they live till they are 11-12!!

Habitat

Marmosets live in trees. They are most active in the day. They are usually docile and gentle. They are often found in groups of 6. The group is made up of an adult pair and it’s offspring. Marmosets can be pets!!

Food

Pygmy Marmosets eat sap/gum. They also eat fruit, nectar and small insects such as spiders.
