Centers
• Create name puzzles and have them available as a center.
• Have students write their first names, trace with liquid glue, and glue macaroni, beans, popcorn, etc. for a tactile art piece.
• “Me Soup”– “Me soup. Me soup. It’s time to share me soup. I’ll learn
about you, you’ll learn about me. Me soup. Me soup. Me soup. Me soup.”
– This is similar to “Me Bags”. Choose a student each week to bring pictures and objects from home that tell about them.
