SALT DOUGH Salt dough can be used to create great creations, ornaments or jewelry and best of all it is made from items in your pantry!
Ingredients: 1 cup salt 2 cups flour ¾ cups water
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl mix salt and flour together. 2. Gradually stir in water. Mix well until it forms a doughy consistency. 3. Turn the dough onto the bench and knead with your hands until smooth
and combined. 4. Make your creations using the salt dough. You can use cookie cutters
to cut out shapes. If you are making ornaments remember to poke a hole in the top so you can thread ribbon through to hang it later.
5. Place the salt dough creations into the oven at 180C. The amount of time needed to bake depends on the size and thickness of the salt dough creations. Alternatively you can air dry your creations. When they are hard and dry they are ready to decorate.
6. Decorate using paint, textas or glue items on.
