Cul tura l Event• FASHION SHOW (Contemporary/Ethnic)– An event put on with a fashion theme which

can be contemporary or ethnic.• WESTERN GROUP DANCE.– Encompasses many dance forms or styles,

which are typically danced to country- western music, and which are stylistically associated with American country.

• GROUP DANCE– Group Dance on folk music/bollywood

Numbers.

Cul tura l Event• SOLO DANCE– Solo Dance performance on any number.

• INSTRUMENTAL SOLO– Playing any instrument to produce

music along with one professional accompanist is allowed.

• SOLO SONG– Singing performance along with two

professional accompanists are allowed.

L i te rary Events–BUSINESS PLAN• Seed money of ₹1cr will be given to

students hypothetically, around which a business plan is spun. The Plan is evaluated by real entrepreneurs and industry people.

–QUIZ• Team of 2 answer questions from history

to current affairs, management, science and technology to geography. Basically anything under the sun and beyond is within .

–DUMB CHARADES• Each team will guess name of

personalities, movies, songs or Books by gestures and without speaking.

L i te rary Events–EXTEMPORE• Participant to speak for 4 minutes on

a topic.

– JAM (JUST A MINUTE)• On the spot a topic will be given to

contestants in a group. Each contestant has to speak continuously without any pause or repetition of a word for 60 seconds and he cannot repeat the idea more than two times and cannot steal ideas of others.

L i te rary Events–PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT• Selling and purchase of shares with

an hypothetical amount of Rs. 1 crore.

–GROUP DISCUSSION• Putting across individual ideas and

views in a group discussion for 8-10 minutes.

–BRITISH PARLIAMENETARY DEBATE• British format of debating in which

PCTE pioneers in the country.

Fine Ar ts–RANGOLI MAKING• Folk art from India in which patterns

are created on the floor in living rooms or courtyards using materials such as colored rice, dry flour, colored sand or flower petals.

–CANVAS PAINTING• Acrylic & Fabric paints to be used and

paint on canvas

Fine Ar ts

–POSTER MAKING• Designing eye-catching and

informative posters using textual and graphic elements.

–PHOTOGRAPHY• Exhibit some of the best clicks during

the festival

Addi t iona l Events• Ehsaas – – A day long cultural, literary and arts Mega Fest,

where teams from India and Pakistan participate since its inception in 1999.(10th October ‘14)

• Turf –– Started last year for schools of the region to

explore their potential in Management, Literary, cultural, Hospitality, etc events. Unleashes their interests for them and helps them discover the future.( 8th October ’14)
