PERSEPHONE’S STORY

Persephone is Demeter's daughter.

Persephone was tending to her gardens. While tending to

her gardens she was abducted by Hades. She was held in

the underworld. If you eat in the underworld you have to

stay there forever. In the underworld Persephone only ate

six pomegranate seeds. Zeus decreed that she should

stay there six months of the year. That is where we get

seasons.
