Ride the rails on the famous Amtrak routes of the Empire Builder and Coast Starlight starting Nov. 7, 2011, with Minnesota blogger Jannet Walsh.

All trains departing from Minnesota Native Daughter’s main station, http://mnnativedaughter.areavoices.com, allowing you to travel back and forth in time from Jannet’s blog, depending when you start your journey.

Travel roundtrip from St. Cloud, Minnesota, to Santa Barbara, California, and experience the adventures of rail travel. Jannet’s actual travel was Oct. 23, 2011 to Nov. 2, 2011.

Passengers accepted at all station stops, with virtual travel provided via iPhone videos, both in coach seating and sleeping cars. iPhone users can get the Amtrak iPhone App free at iTunes. If you really want to travel, you can learn more at amtrak.com, and start your own adventure!
